Hands down, The Chariot. Every time I’ve seen them beats anything else. Best show I’ve ever been to was when I saw them at Chain Reaction in December.
Outside of that, The Story So Far at Gilman in January. Touché Amoré at that little art gallery in LA. Any time I’ve seen The Greenery has always been a blast. They’re fun friends of mine. And my friends in Listener are always great live. mewithoutYou, Bright Eyes, Death Cab For Cutie. And freaking Copeland on their farewell tour. When they played California I basically crapped myself. That was one of the most epic live songs ever.
Favorite bands from tour were definitely As Hell Retreats, Close Your Eyes, and Sleeping Giant. SG’s set is always so intense.
Most of those are favorites. I know there’s a few more I’m forgetting but that sums it up.
